Christmas Raffle

One of the largest money raising events that we undertake annually is our Christmas Raffle.  Businesses in Oban are incredibly generous in donating a huge variety of different prizes which are then included in the raffle. Tickets priced at £1 are sold by the committee, in the hospital, by word of mouth, and by selling at one of our supermarkets with their permission.  This is our single biggest regular money raising event and we are very grateful to all who make it so, particularly the businesses small and large that contribute, those who sell the tickets and of course those who buy them!

The Christmas raffle 2025 was well supported in the hospital, when sold at Lidl, and when purchased from trustees.  All the prizes have been distributed to the lucky winners and the ABCD funds have been boosted as a result.  As always, the money we raise is spent on supporting ventures throughout Argyll.  A comprehensive list of how we have spent the money we raise is available on this website under "What we've done"
